Discovered and specifically curated by Germán González, one of the greatest living tequileros, Mata de Monte is an authentic agave spirit, or traditional, low-alcohol Salmiana agave distillate, that was the popular drink in Guanajuato for more than two hundred years. The same smooth, pure flavor now meets growing demand for clean, low ABV spirits.
Mata de Monte is naturally distilled to 29% ABV, the point at which it reaches its perfect flavor. The light notes create a refreshing spirit either straight up or mixed.
Our unique approach to planting, harvesting and distilling is environmentally regenerative, reviving the land, the water and wildlife.
The return of the Mexican puma symbolizes the restoration of the beautiful land of San Miguel de Allende.
Descubierto y seleccionado específicamente por Germán González, uno de los tequileros vivos más destacados, Mata de Monte es un auténtico espíritu de agave, o destilado tradicional de agave salmiana de baja graduación alcohólica, que fue la bebida popular en Guanajuato durante más de doscientos años. Su mismo sabor suave y puro ahora satisface la creciente demanda de bebidas espirituosas limpias y de baja graduación alcohólica.
Mata de Monte se destila de forma natural al 29%, momento en el que alcanza su sabor perfecto. Las notas ligeras crean un espíritu refrescante, ya sea solo o mezclado. Nuestro enfoque único en la plantación, cosecha y destilación es ambientalmente regenerativo, reviviendo la tierra, el agua y la vida silvestre.
