Agave spirit grew with the industrial fortunes Guanajuato until the largest distilleries in Mexico were found here. While many of these great distilleries disappeared in the early twentieth century, the culture of agave spirit lived on in the form of small producers that multiplied and added sophistication to the beauty of the agave expressions of Guanajuato.
